Cry-Baby: The Musical
Fresh(ish) from their sell out runs of Made in Dagenham and 9 to 5, the Rollers Theatre Company is thrilled to return to the Bridewell with the musical adaptation of the cult classic film, Cry-Baby.
From the creators behind Hairspray, Cry-Baby is a timeless tale of good girl meets bad boy, kisses him (with tongue) and turns her back on the squeaky clean world of 1950s suburban America. Cry-Baby Walker, the coolest boy in Baltimore and unofficial leader of the Drapes must hold off scorn from the snobby Squares to keep Alison’s affection and his rock and roll reputation in tact.
Come and witness the hilarity and absurdity ensue this November at the Bridewell.
