Rollers Theatre Company was once again back at the Chelsea Theatre. We ready to rocked, rolled, and laughed our socks off at our electrifying cabaret: 'The Rollers Mixtape, Vol. 1'! πΈπ€
We took our audiences for a wild ride through the jukebox of their dreams, as we mashed up the hits from your favourite musicals with the gritty beats of grunge, the soulful melodies of rock, and the catchy tunes of pop! From Broadway to The Backstreet Boys, from ABBA to Ariana Grande, we've got it all in one eclectic mixtape that'll leave you tapping your toes and reaching for the mic.
Featuring a talented cast of performers who belted out the hits, this cabaret was a night of pure entertainment that had us singing along one minute and snorting with laughter the next. Let's turn this up to eleven.
Adapted from the 2010 film, Made in Dagenham is based on the real-life story of the Ford sewing machinistsβ strike of 1968. We follow the story of Rita, a working woman and mother who becomes a union leader amidst the strike. From the writer of One Man, Two Guvβnors, we took audiences back to the swinging sixties with this uplifting musical comedy about friendship, love, and the importance of doing what is right.

We were so excited to return to the stage with a fully-licensed musical after a two year gap, and what a return it was. Performing at The Cockpit for the first time, we were over the moon to present 9 To 5 The Musical, taking to the stage in costumes that Dolly herself would be proud of, with an incredible cast, band and crew.
This was our first show performed in the thrust, and our brilliant production team worked hard to translate this epic musical into a black box environment. The result: a joy-filled show that had audience dancing on their feet by the end.

Every good wedding needs an excellent photographer, and we are lucky enough to have the best. Kate Palca (who in her own ode to The Wedding Singer, married our very own RTC President in September of this year) was with us at the Stockwell Playhouse to capture every thrilling moment of our biggest show to date.
